The shoot features all our favorite pieces, brands and styles for a great season. The mix of classic essentials and popping statement pieces from top Belin-based brands Lala Berlin, Karlotta Wilde and Sabrina Dehoff meet the elite of Highnobettes most featured brands like Opening Ceremony, &Other Strories, h&m, and Kitsuné. Nike Launches NTC – App In Germany

Just in time for the summer season and only about a month before the first ‘We Own The Night’ run in Berlin will take place (stay tuned for more info), Nike launches the famous NTC workout app for women in Germany. With about 115 workouts, all designed by professional Nike trainers, home training reaches a new level.

Highsnobette, last week joined a personal TRAIN TO RUN session to not only test the new app but also get some helpful tips to prepare for the 10K run on May 24 in Berlin. The result of the session, that usually doesn’t take longer then 15 to 30 minutes, are not only burning legs but first and foremost the cognition that only running doesn’t help to get ready for a run. With over 90 more dimensional workout routines, everyone will find the right way to get in shape this summer.

Nike Free Experience Barcelona – Recap

Last week Highsnobette, along with 20 other journalists and bloggers from around the world, joined Nike for a 36-hour trip to test and experience the latest version of the Nike Free Run. With a backpack full of sporty ambition (and shorts and shirts that I found covered with dust somewhere in my closet), I said adieu to freezing cold Berlin and Hola to 20-degree Barca.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel there was the unmistakable feeling of a short-term holiday. Ice cold milk shakes and 2 hours of free time spent by the pool immediately put a smile on my face. Beach and the Mediterranean Sea within eyeshot made me ask “is this real life?” But Nike wouldn’t be Nike if they let us lie lazily by the pool instead of experiencing their latest running innovation through intense physical exertion.

What followed was a tight schedule of detailed workouts and runs along the beach and in the mountains. Not to mention a wonderful excursion by boat, a nice bike ride through the city, as well as a detailed presentation about the Nike Free Run – the main protagonist of our 36-hour stay in Barcelona.

The Nike Free Run 5.0 will release in 32 color variations and assures an ultimate barefoot feeling that -personally approved- trains every single muscle of the leg. Highsnobette Photo Editorial: H&M Conscious Collection By Laura Palm

H&M are constantly striving to balance their contemporary and exciting designs alongside ethical responsibilites. Their latest Conscious Collection, which will be released this Spring, sees a reflection of the season in the beautiful floral textile designs. Vanessa Paradis is the face of the worldwide campaign, but for a special treat, here at Highsnobette we teamed up with photographer Laura Palm to produce a more personal lookbook, ahead of the collections release.
Featuring Cécile Weber and Jackie Hide, the styling plays up the youthful edge of the collection,

including floaty dresses, cropped bomber jackets, khaki pants, shorts and perforated tea dresses. The collection will hit H&M stores on March 25.

Exclusively for H&M and the East London-based custom bike shop Brick Lane Bikes is a lookbook shot by Highsnobiety, featuring the best styles of the upcoming capsule collection in addition to the store’s great single speed bike. Brick Lane Bikes, aka BLB, is a small store and workshop, famed in London for its custom bikes and all aroundgood vibes. H&M teamed up with BLB to release a unique capsule collection consisting of functional and vintage-style tees, pants, jackets, long-sleeved shirts, and accessories.

Nike Running 2013 We Will #MakeItCount Campaign

For 2013 Nike continues to to reinvent the sport by setting up the next round of the #MakeItCount campaign that was first launched in 2012. Highly motivated and with a full batch of team spirit Highsnobiety and Highsnobette teams decided to participate and will #MakeItCount too. Instead of making specific global goals, we decided to set ourselves the goal of running 50 kilometers in January 2013. The most interesting aspect for us was Nike’s new approach to the sport: Running 5km a week is still better than not running at all. Damn right! So, with the ambition to quit our computers for at least 1 hour per week, we are highly motivated to put on our running shoes and join the movement. Of course we will also share the progress of our running through our Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. With the aid of the Nike + Running App we will be able to measure the progress and compare our personal performances with all other participants worldwide.

And just by the way: Nike is also asking everybody to join them and pledge how they will #MakeItCount over the next twelve months. So whether your ambition is to run that first marathon or simply do more than you did in 2012, however you and your friends choose to #MakeItCount together, let @NIKE know.
