Giving the ladies of soccer their well deserved sest of trainning gear Puma launches itsdebut women’s soccer collection featuring lots of fun athletic wear. However,  since we’ve been known to wear our running leggings (with heels bien sur) to cocktail parties we definitely advocate for styling a few of these pieces for non-athletic activities as well. More images on the flip courtesy of Puma.

One of my favorite fashion influences, American sportswear, is about to go into high gear for spring 2010, and that fact makes me so happy I could cry. This Marc by Marc Jacobs hooded terry jumpsuit pretty much epitomizes the trend. What could be more perfect for travel and casual hanging out? Nada I tell you!

In what is probably the coolest Olympic Uniform, check out the Burton 2010 US Olympic Women’s   uniforms. Loved that they kept the same color scheme for men as well.

Though I’m far from sold on the the whole concept of “toning” shoes, aka, footwear like FitFlops, which supposedly have the power to firm your butt, I gotta hand it to girl-genius Marcia Kilgore (she of Bliss Spa fame). She launched  the FitFlop shoe line two years ago and has only sold 4 or 5 million pairs since then. And whether or not you believe, the truth is her line stands up based on fashion alone. The “Shakoa” boot featured here gets extra points, not just because it’s a collabo with Kilgore’s old pal Ana Sui, but because the design very nicely spices up a classic look via a studded star and a side tassle(!). The boots (also in green and blue) are now available exclusively on Net-A-Porter and ShopIntuition (already sold out in a bunch of sizes in both places).

In what I could probably call one of the coolest Fitness media events Nike presented  their spring 2010 focus last week In Vancouver , BC : Victory loves Training. Hinting to the fact that in sports like in many things in life thing , being prepared, trained  focused often makes the difference between the true  leaders , and the followers. The summit impressively  reunited women from a very broad range of media outlets from  big publications like Elle and  Glamour to femalesneakerfiends, fashion , fitness bloggers and of course yours truly.
