One of the things I learned early on in fashion  was that with basics you can never go wrong..One of the Labels that provide great ones and that might not always be in the forefront of the Trendy world is Club Monaco,Originally from Canada(hooray!) they never gave into the idea of making super trendy apparel. But always stayed current..for example if you are seaching for the perfect wide leg  most likely they made it…If you look closely you’ll realise that their aesthetic is current, modern,sexy and  sleek.Again it’s sexy without screaming it..

The quality is amazing..lined pants,covered seams…Yep I get into all that! They never do print overkill so really you never know who is wearing it,they just do great Apparel and Handbags

Yesterday on my way home the straps of my favorite ankle tie sandals broke off..after 3years of pounding the summer pavement ,my made in India treasure gave way… Looking at these Bahia elastic sock sandals ,by Cocobelle I could imagine how walking in  sandals would be even more pleasant…although in NYC i’m starting to reconsider..there seems to be an overwhelmimg amount of broken glass on sidewalks lately….

Love the modernity and the sleekness of these it shows style without screaming it..

The talked about Dunk pack for the St Pauli FC was being Launched  @ Sneakology in Hamburg. And Yes, we have  pics of the party!!!The St. Pauli FC is the first Minor German FC to have collaborated with Nike!

The hi dunk has to be must be my  fave although the detailling on the white  low dunk are also pretty sweet..

Ce Ce Chen, founder and designer for 80%20 (inspired by the theory that 20 percent of wardrobe is worn 80 percent of the time) is one of those females that’s beloved around these parts. She’s smart, creative, a total go-getter, not to mention a cutie from the inside out. She was showing her fall 2008 line at FFANY and here are some of the highlights (she didn’t show her riding boot style ’cause it’s already sold out!):

What I like about Italian shoe brand Superga is that it’s not only a legitimate brand with a heritage, but it’s also got love for women. Converse may dabble in femmy colors and treatments, but for Superga, there’s a clear focus on keeping up with current fashion trends.

You guys know how I feel about my designer footwear…from what I’ve seen of the line I can say that for a first  run the finishing on the shoes is pretty cool !As for their inspiration ….From what I have seen in the footwear industry it seems to be all fair game…

If anything one can say is that just like heatherette’s founders the shoes are definitely Fun and totally Fierce…They do kicks too!Pictures to come later today..
