PixieMarket continues to bring the new and different. Recently they brought on Australian designer Natalie Encarnita’s spring/summer ‘08 line. I like ’cause it’s got a sly sexiness to it. Sort of like that person who you at first don’t notice when they walk into a room, but whose allure slowly creeps up on you and eventually has you by the throat.

^^This dress by Natalie Encarnita is already sold out (but not for nothing, would it have killed them to use a model with slightly bigger boobs??)

I dunno about other places in the world but for many of us  in Ny Diesel was a brand for people who wore Von Dutch trucker hats ect.. remember those days… if you were one of those people back in the day  no offense..the thing just got so repetitive it was ridiculous….So for along time their collection was just too heavily branded for me,you could find a piece here and there but for the most part although they had some great design pieces in a whole it was just too much..

Recently I started looking at Diesel again and found that their accessories were pretty cool  apparently well made with features that I love like Metal Zippers!!and branded with "subtelty"!!!

I still think their website has too much going on but check out after the jump for a few of my pics..

If the hoopla behind the NYC opening of Topshop kind of leaves you indifferent  you let me break it down for ya…

If the Us store is a carbon copy of it’s european counterparts it should rock, their assortment remind me of what a Sex and the city wardrobe closet would be like, very eclectic but never really tacky…with  a vintage section ,trendy pieces, wardrobe staples , high end collabos,accessories ,a cafe all in one place without feeling like you are in a mall!

They would carry things like this cute little Playsuit that you might not have  tought you ever needed but that ends up being  just irresistible…

If there is one think that irks me with Big Box lingerie stores it’s the lack of intimacy and the overwhelming cuteness that seems to be necessary to make women spend money on panties…

Agent provocateur does the opposite,their boutiques are a dream,sleek and  very intimate just like their line.The Cendrillon brief above truly separates the women from the girls, I did not even know that  this shape could be made from a sewing  standpoint but hey… I guess that when your mom is Vivienne westwood you have think outside the box….
