Just when I think that Target has exhausted the designer diffusion line world one comes along that blows me away.Wwd just announced the collaboration of Alexander Mcqueen and target.I really am curious about the one!

"Target in March will launch a new fashion initiative called Designer Collaborations. The program will bring the styles of well-established designers to the mass merchant at typical Target prices. Alexander McQueen is the first on deck and will design a version of his McQ collection called McQ Alexander McQueen for Target. The collection will have rock ‘n’ roll influences and edgy details such as studs and tattoo-print fabrics. Designer Initiative is a separate program from Target’s Go International, which focuses on young or emerging designers. Target said additional Designer Collaborations will be announced in the future. Each collection will be available in stores for a limited time."

One of the biggest fashion loop holes  that women seldomly explore are men’s accessories .Usually edgier and sleeker most highend designers have great pieces for lot less than you think.The Dolce& Gabbana Horn and DG Tag Necklace is a great example.

I want to believe that I have an open ming when it comes to fashion and accessories.When done well even the most unflattering looks can be workable.There is one tough that after the all the celebrity spotting , the close friends of mine crossing over,with their" oohs" and ahs of comfort I still can’t…Men are now being seen rocking Ugg Fur boots outdoors… I’m speechess.

A new Style from Booji ,The Regal-One ( A.P.B ) with a pinstriped black & white canvas material  upper with accents of black full grain tumble & oil pull-up leathers. Lined with a dot graphic pattern on midnight blue. The mid-sole is black EVA / lightweight with black rubber bottoms.

As a Female sneaker fiend I  have to say that details in kicks just get me , in this case the polka dot lining just works very well for me!

Although when it makes sense, I can digest flowers and pastels.Lakmé Fashion week  took place last week ,and  Pallavi Murdia’s Pallavi Jaipur’s s/s 09 Collection ,inspired by the deserts of Rajasthan define a beauty and a femininity that is not forced , reflecting  beauty,color and adornment .

 The dress with leggings on the left ,just stopped  me and had me just gaze in awe of coolness.The snob in me must also love the fact that these fabrics are of course amazing,and the beadwork ,mostly hadmade reflects ancient techniques and traditions.Allowing me to indulge in my passion for fine craftmanship.see more from Pallavi Jaipur s/s 09 here

KTZ"Kokon-Tozai" tr."Of all ages and countries/cultures". Designed by Sasko Besovski aka Sasha B is one of those lines that I truly love .It’s the kind of clothes that express a creativity that alot of us stateside are afraid to express.It’s the stuff that probably will not make it into many must have magazine lists  but that reminds me of the days when the FIT campus in NYC was itself of fashion show( Those days are sadly  gone).
