Alas, busy preparing for our own runway presentation, we couldn’t make it to the New York Fashion Week presentation for The Blonds, as everyone knows always one of the greatest shows on earth. However, we did send photog wonder kid Rashid Samuel, who took some really amazing shots for all of us to enjoy. Above are the designers for The Blonds, David & Phillipe Blond, taking a final strut around the runway.

Here is a big look of the women’s presentation from J. Crew’s Autumn/Winter 2013 collection. Wide angle portraits by David Bailey from the ’60s inspired the collection particularly one of Michael Caine (who we happen to love as well). Classic garments are once again re-worked for the season by Marissa Webb, J.Crew head of women’s design.

On the first day of NYFW, Timo Weiland and Alan Eckstein showed an amazing collection for Timo Weiland Autumn/Winter 2013. Fleece-lined leather jackets played a key role, and were often combined with wide leg pants and leather everything. The mixture of rugged cold weather materials combined, menswear-inspired looks and femmy skirts and dresses should leave everyone from the tomboy to the girly-girl with options this Autumn.

Designer Peter Jensen presented his collection for Autumn/Winter 2013 last week at Copenhagen Fashion Week last week and we were especially charmed by the “SPEND SPEND SPEND” sweater. It’s the type of simple yet statement making piece Jensen is known for, garnering him attention from rising stars like Lena Durham.

On the next page, more from the collection, featuring color-blocked pieces, modern accessories, and electric-hued loafers.

Last week, Wood Wood presented their Autumn/Winter 2013 collection titled “In The Club” during Fashion Week Copenhagen. The line features elements of sport and mixes the typical New York cool with the distinct Wood Wood aesthetics. The collection consists of hybrids of classics redefined with new detailing that fuse tailoring and performance expressions.

Exclusive to Highsnobette we have captured some backstage looks from in the Brandenburger Tor fashion tent during Berlin Fashion Week. We posted an interview earlier featuring a chat with Jelena and Sedina, designers for German brand Holy Ghost, and one hour before the second collection was to be shown, we met backstage and had the chance to capture images of the label’s show rehearsal and the typical hair and makeup mayhem of any show.

Last week during Berlin Fashion Week we visited some interesting shows, jumped off at SEEK tradeshow where some of our favorite brands like A Kind Of Guise, Happy Socks as well as amazing newcomer Mes Dames presented theit latest collections. Although Berlin was haunted by extreme cold temperatures, we still realized that real fashion people always make sure to wear the right outfit.

In what has become almost a seasonal tradition, Belgian designer Raf Simons and Eastpak revealed their fourth collaboration during Paris Fashion Week. On the catwalk we saw the iconic Eastpak backpack in silky jaquard decorated with an embroidered logo. The backpack’s blended extremely well with the runway collection whose theme was an artistic blend of patterns and shapes.

The Eastpak x Raf Simons collection will be available in six striped patterns and seven color blocks and is expected to hit stores in June 2013.

Fashions weeks are usually a very busy time for us. It can get hectic and girls like us who are on a mission need to add a bit of pragmatism to the ensemble: a bag that fits the large invitation cards (it can get windy in Paris, Berlin or Milan at this time of the year so don’t let them get blown away!) and a camera, which we may well put around the neck always on the ready to snap shoot. After a cold start in Berlin and an even colder one in Paris, take a closer look at our selection for the perfect fashion week outfit.
