Following Lanvin’s offering of bubblegum-flavored macarons made in collaboration with famous patissier Ladurée, now U.S. designer Reed Krakoff has teamed up with Ladurée to create an all-black matte dark chocolate macaron for all who have more wicked thoughts about Valentine’s Day.

The iconic confection will be presented in a custom limited edition black matte Ladurée box available at Ladurée New York store (864 Madison Avenue) on February 8th.

Using  the backdrop of the Maryam Nassir Zadeh boutique, Susan Canciolo presented her artistic ‘Run’ Collection last week. One of a kind pieces showcased on models, and throughout the store , to the sound of the Kora by Yacouba Sissoko created a peaceful  refreshing , atmosphere for the senses. on the next page get a peek at the ambiance and Canciolo’s handmade creations.

Winner Best Overall Design and Style -Ita Collection

The Handbag Awards took place last Tuesday at The Time Life building in NYC. The finalists  and guest got to display they bags as well as get the chance to hear from Kenneth Cole, who received the IHDA Iconoclast Award. On the next page get a closer look at the bags and ambiance.
