Summer Style Infusions: Infuse Your Labor Day Style

Flag1 Summer Style Infusions: Infuse Your Labor Day Style

In many parts of the United States a rule about not wearing white after Labor Day, which takes place on the first Monday in September, is heavily ingrained. The root of the idea that people should not wear white after Labor Day appears to be shrouded in mystery, and the rule has been greatly relaxed since the 1950s and 1960s when it was more heavily enforced. People who choose to wear white into the fall are no longer heavily criticized for the choice and are sometimes embraced as fashion-forward trendsetters. As summer slowly comes to an end, Highsnobette strongly recommends taking this last chance to dress up in white and celebrate the holiday with a cool drink.

Editor’s Pick: Stone & Cloth Ipad And Ipad Mini Cases

Stone Cloth case cover Editors Pick: Stone & Cloth Ipad And Ipad Mini Cases

The story behind these Ipad cases is pretty nice. During his trip to Africa to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, the founder of Stone & Cloth was accompanied by porters who are earning 1 to 2 dollars a day, what isn’t even enough to send a child to school. Back home, he started researching how he could help kids in Tanzania get the education they deserve. Creating a product, where each purchase supports a child’s education, proved to be the best solution. Each purchase therefore supports a child’s education in Tanzania, Africa. Great idea!

These iPad cases are made in USA and available at the Stone + Cloth online store.

Fashion loves a juxtaposition. Pairing opposites together creates an interesting look and is often at the forefront of many trends. Wearing more tailored pieces with sneakers is a sure fire way of bringing the best of both worlds together, lifting the tailored trousers from formality with a touch of urban streetwear. And the sneakers are taken from the street to… well, wherever you want to take them. A winter of locking our feet up in leather boots and we’re ready to lighten our step, and our wardrobes.
