Michelle Obama Inaugural Ball Dress: Jason Wu!

22 January 2013, 04.29 | Posted in dress | No comments »

We all were on the edge of our seats waiting for Michelle Obama’s big dress reveal tonight and trust, we read all the Tweets, no one was guessing Jason Wu was going to land THE dress for a second inaugural ball. There are those who have fussed that Obama should have given another young designer a chance, but you know how it went for her. She tried on all the gowns–there were like 20–and she kept coming back to two, but in the end it was Wu’s that she couldn’t resist.  This woman has sacrificed lots–for her husband, her children, her country–more power to her for choosing for heart’s desire for a change. And of course–big congrats to Jason Wu, thrilled for him! She looks stunning, you can see why she made the choice.
