Amélie Riech, fashion editor and designer of her own label Uncommon Matters teamed up with Paco Rabanne’s newly incarnated accessory line, Pacolab. For the jewellery line, Amélie had the chance to let her own philosophy -which is use traditional craftsmanship and considered materials- flow into the creations. The collection contains unique bracelets, rings and necklaces added to a very sleek line of clothes.
Christian Louboutin has recruited photographer Peter Lippmann to shoot this magical campaign for the brand’s lookbook for Autumn 2012. We have an exclusive preview of Leah McSweeney’s new collection of women’s leggings that evolved from a collaboration between the MOB (Married to the Mob) founder and Vice columnist Cat Marnel. The leggings will be available in three different styles including a peacock model with a full-body pattern and a blck-paneled option as well as Aztec prints in bright colors. Shot by Prince and Jacob of Lovecat magazine, the whole project was more a liason between friends who love and admire each other for what they do than a profit-orientated collaboration.

Michael Kors, Alexander Wang, Joseph Altuzarra and more got photographed by Terry Richardson for an Harper’s Bazaar editorial titled ‘I’ll Tumblr For Ya’. Although most designers have a Tumblr, I am all about sure that most of them don’t tumble as hard as the designers featured in the magazines October issue do. The full spread will be released online on September 14. We spotted first behind the scenes imagery on nowwhere else as the magazines Tumblr.
As you may have noticed, we are now showing more collections from Berlin-based designers thanks to a newly-added Berlin-based editor. Esther Perbandt is one of the Berlin designers we have been watching for a while. This week the lookbook for the Spring 2013 collection came out, presenting a sleek and clean line that doesn’t need flashy colors or patterns to stand out. As always chains are a signature design feature of the label. Soon, the label will launch its own online store. Until then you can shop Esther Perbandt at Fashionhype.
Earlier this year, Adidas Originals invited us and other girls around the globe to get creative in the name of the Adidas Originals White Space Project. For the launch party that took place in April, we customized tees with Coco & Breezy while Yuna enchanted us with her voice. You can check the photos of the party here.
A few months later the project now looks back on nine successful collaborations in nine different cities. But even if the #WSP has come to an end, Adidas Originals remains true to its motto and continues asking people (this time boys AND girls) to #represent.
Take a look at the round-up video showing how the #WSP girls represented for all creative girls around the world.

The great Raf Simons for Jil Sander collection is finally available. Inspired by American collegiate sportswear and combined with that modern touch typical of Raf Simons creations, there are so many pieces from this collection I would love to own. In keeping with the minimalism the brand is know for, accessories are simply tagged with names including “Faith,” “Secret,” “Trust” or “Promise.” My favorite is the “Notorious” calfskin pump in college green. The Jil Sander by Raf Simons collection is now available at Colette and in the brand’s online shop.

New York designer Leah McSweeney visits Paris as part of her collaboration with the watch company. According to press:
Watching her wander the rainy streets of Paris, from Montmartre to Pigalle, we see a glow-in-the-dark Baby GBGA131-7B lighting her path every now and then. She’s living her individual adventure, traveling to The City of Lights in search of what excitement life has to offer – and not apologizing for it. The outcome of her search is unknown, but then again nothing is exciting if you know what the outcome is going to be…
The video is directed by Shadi Perez and produced by Leah McSweeney, wearing a pink dress from her recently-launched collection.
Created for the MOB with slightly more sophisticated taste, the line consists of gorgeous leggings, vibrant dresses, sexy swimwear, and some cute tops for good measure. Released in small quantities to ensure max quality, everything is made right here in good ol’ NYC, and it’s pretty much like getting to buy a piece of Leah’s wardrobe. Inspired by her favorite trends and what she’d personally like to wear, it’s a total embodiment of her overall style.
The looks featured here are modeled by Whitney and shot by Prince & Jacob. See more on the next page.
