Most ‘boyfriend’ fit denim  tend to be on the looser side and for me never quite looked as I pictured them. Recently Levi’s introduced the Boyfriend Skinny fit .Still a little roomy in the seat and the thigh,  the genius of the cut is in the slimmer leg which creates a more tailored look. We had the opportunity to test out a pair of selvedge waterless  boyfriend skinny jeans and have been hooked . See them up close on the flip. Available  here.

The Denim Spa comes in three different styles: low, regular and highwaist, all of which feature cosmetic micro-capsules that slowly release your choice of aloe vera, olive extract, or skin-smoothing caffeine, retinol and algae extract as they’re worn.  The jeans keeps their effect supposedly for about 15 days and can be reloaded with a special spray that extends the properties between 67-95 wears. The three styles of jeans are currently out of stock but look for them to be restocked at ASOS.

The stylish and super funny Man Repeller, Leandra Medine, and her new husband, Abie Cohen (see Medine’s Marchesa wedding dress here), visit Rag & Bone’s New York showroom for a photo shoot promoting the brand, along with a cute q&a. Here’s an excerpt:

R&B: Do you ask each other’s advice on clothes?
Medine: I don’t like asking him, but he always asks, “Does this match?”. I think his mom made him seem like he was never matching when he was a child. He’ll wear a black sweater with black pants and ask, “Does this match?”. It’s odd. Sometimes he’s like, “Lea, you don’t match” and I’m like, “Yeah, I know, that’s the point.” He definitely never has the problem of; “Leandra, that’s a little too promiscuous, please don’t wear that”. It’s more like, “Leandra, I want to feel attracted to my wife.

In the interview, Medine also details her hunch that the big question was coming:

“I had a bunch of invites in my room and my mom went, “You’re not going to this?” about an invite from Reed Krakoff on the 8th. I was like “Since when are you so interested in my schedule – Abie is proposing, isn’t he?” She got freaked out and started getting teary.”
