Laetitia Casta is the face of H&M’s brand new lingerie line launching just in time for holiday 2012. The collection features some knickers and bra’s in sparkling silver and pink. The collection is now available  from H&M.

It’s been 10 years  since the existence of Andrea Crews  . Over this decade the label has created , many  exceptional fashion collections but also organized and still organizes special events and art installations. After  releasing a book earlier this year , the brand now joins the list of Uniqlo’s special guests, creating hand customized, limited edition cashmere sweaters entitled Couture Andrea Crews by Uniqlo. The sweaters are now available from colette.

From Nas’ 2012 album, Life is Good, the single “Cherry Wine,” featuring Amy Winehouse receives the video treatment. The Salaam Remi track had its beginnings in a 2008 studio session that brought the two performers together.  Winehouse’s unique voice dominates the track but the video doesn’t exactly live up to the complexity the two are known for. Rather it seems overly simplistic with the male lead overcoming challengers to eventually win over the smoking hot video vixen. Imagine that.

We have an exclusive preview of Leah McSweeney’s new collection of women’s leggings that evolved from a collaboration between the MOB (Married to the Mob) founder and Vice columnist Cat Marnel. The leggings will be available in three different styles including a peacock model with a full-body pattern and a blck-paneled option as well as Aztec prints in bright colors. Shot by Prince and Jacob of Lovecat magazine, the whole project was more a liason between friends who love and admire each other for what they do than a profit-orientated collaboration.

Grace Goddington has teamed up with Balenciaga to create a cat-themed “Pumpkin” collection, which will include the paper tote shown above, plus a  silk and wool scarf. The pieces will feature Grace’s drawings of her cat wearing Balenciaga looks from the past 10 years.  Good cause: 20 percent of the proceeds will go to animal rescue. Like it!

One of my favourite Parisian labels The Kooples just released its lookbook for Autumn 2012. For its campaigns the brand always manages to land some of the hottest “Kooples” of the moment. This season we see André Saraiva and Annabelle Dexter Jones, Devendra Banhart and Ana Kras, DJs Leigh Lezark, Randy D’Amico and Jamie Burke together with Mila de Wit. With its mix of New Yorkian rock and Pariasian chic the brand manages to create a certain je ne sais quoi attitude. Especially in Paris, the hipsters try hard to be as Kooples as possible.  And no wonder, looking at the couples featured in the campaign, they all seem to reflect 100 percent the image the brand wants to radiate. Well done!

The matching print pantsuit, the statement piece for Prada’s Autumn 2012 line, has snagged two prominent covers for September: Elle Mexico and Vogue China.  And these are two I’m aware of, no doubt there are more. Just last week I was saying that the masculine and matchy-matchy aspect of the pantsuit might be a bit much for the average fashion lover, but this kind of press has the power to turn an item into a must-have if only as a piece to add to one’s collection.

One of Berlin’s upcoming young designers, Laos-born Hien Le, showed his debut collection for Spring 2011 during Berlin Fashion Week in Summer 2010, an effort that earned him the title of “Best Newcomer” by Sportswear International magazine. So for those of you who haven’t caught wind of him, have a look at his fashion genius as presented in his beautiful collection for Spring 2013.

For the collection Le took inspiration from the style-setting tv series Miami Vice, with an overall look that is clean and and harmonious with a pastel-colored palette set off by Miami-friendly flamingo prints. This is what we want this summer! The Hien Le collection is currently available at Voo Store Berlin, Croon a Song in Tokyo and online at Farfetch.com.
