We featured the Hellz “The Rest Is Her Story” Autumn lookbook last week and now comes word from the brand that it’s launching accessories, starting with this studded “Head B*tch” leather cuff, now available on Karmaloop.

This is not Booji’s first appearance on this site, but judging from advance images from the Spring line, it looks like the brand has evolved quite a bit since we saw it about this time last year. Designer Miss MDot got her start as a member of the JB Classics family and that brand’s forward design sensibility clearly influences her product, with the added twist that Miss MDot’s product all feature animal friendly ecologocially-friendly materials. Through her Violette clothing label, New York-based designer Vashtie Kola just issued some very limited “Funbag” tee-shirts designed to assuge every female’s breast envy. Whether a desire for a great big bountiful rack or a less cumbersome perky pair is on your wish list of things to possess, you can have them at least for as long as the tee stays clean! If you’ve been following along, as you might imagine, these hit about an eleven on my bliss scale. You have to give Adidas and Jeremy their propers, they are going for it without an ounce of fear. Hellz’s Autumn collection shows the brand continuing to evolve, as designer Lanie flexes her growing design muscle with exaggerated shoulders and ruffles, while keeping her roots firmly planted in the street via unexpected trims, details and cuts (see the leggings on the next page). The line was inspired by exploitation films including “Lady Snowblood” and “Thriller,” which give the line its modern-day femme fatale feel. Never shying away from her female power roots, you have to love how the collection’s name, “The Rest Is Her Story,” puts on exclamation point on what the label draws so much of its inspiration from.  Many more looks on the next page.

This collection marks the fourth time that Asics and Tokidoki have collaborated on sneakers, and while all the two brands’ efforts together have been strong, this one is the best yet, perfectly playing the quiet sleekness of Asics against the exrtoverted/fun-loving Tokidoki.
