Pop culture and television has exposed alot about society, values etc. Some good some bad, but for the most part when I think of Farraw Fawcett, her role in Charlie’s Angels comes to mind as one of the first images of women I saw in the media . Growing up in the islands, I remember my sister and I running to the television when the theme song for the show came on and being riveted to the screen as these images of stylish women who could kick butt, somehow shaped a little bit of our ideas of who we could be : The strenght , skill, sense of justice, quirkiness with a healthy dose of sexy. The shows were of course re-runs , but as little girls all we saw was the fierceness! On the next page the Farrah Fawcett poster that sold over 12 million copies worldwide.
