Hermes’ presentation for its summer 2010 accessory collection is artsy as can be (aka, I’m confused) with a theme entitled “Tales to Be Told.” Definitately the campaign has an Alice-in-Wonderland feel, albeit minus the color. The bags shown on this page are the best part for certain and lovers of cleanly-line classics should find them swoon-worthy. Next page there are some hats, another bag and shoes.

Louis Vuitton’s spring collection has arrived on its website and denim looks are clearly a part of the mix.  This one is called “Denim Surprise.” It wouldn’t be my first choice for an LV bag, but if I were a rich girl I would own it. It’s just too perfect as a summer item. Via Denimology.

This Marc Jacobs storefront shot was taken on Thursday of last week at the Mercer Street store in SoHo. It’s a cute bag made snazzy by the unique fringe detail.

Not sure if the bag highlighted on this page is a man’s or a woman’s (because, alas, I cannot speak Japanese) but come on, if this belonged to a Dad or a boyfriend, any smart female would immediately appropriate it.

After the jump are more of Lanvin Collection’s spring 2010 offerings now available. The silhouette don’t exactly make my pulse rise, but the quality is so rich that my heart can’t help but melt.

Two heavy hitters, designer Alex Wang and retailer Opening Ceremony have come together on a tote bag, which features Alex’s signature bottom-stud detail. For those of you who are dying for an Alex statement piece, but can’t lay out the multiple hundreds, this tote is $125 and offered with either silver or gold studs.

The pre-Oscar parties are in full swing and Elton John pulled an amazingly a-plus list crowd for a fundraising event held at the newly-opened Soho House in Hollywood. Our forever fave Madonna was there, where she doubled down on Louboutin with a pair of  ‘Tahiti’ black and white pumps from his Spring 2010 collection, and a ‘Lolita’ studded clutch.

The new-ish interpretation of  studs is leaving the rock/goth edge into something more regal and even ethnic.Gold studs.  Needless to say, I  am still hooked. The Tote by Sara  Berman available at net-a-porter.

Even though I’m al ittle mad at Chanel these days (too many of those gross totes with the giant Cs, plus Karl seems to be in a bit of a funk), this bag is still pretty amazing. Like the Jil Sander shoes I posted about yesterday, I also found it in New York Time’s T magazine.
