Christopher Kane Is The New Creative Director At Balanciaga

Le Nouvel Observateur announced just a few hours ago that  Nicholas Ghesquière’s  (whose official last day is November 30th) role of creative director for Balenciaga   has been filled  by Christopher Kane. Geez that was fast! Kane created a real fashion buzz with his Gorilla tees a few years ago and apparent fear of bloggers.We wish him the best, #Noshade.

UPDATE: Turns out, it was too good to be true. A spokesman of Christopher Kane just denied the speculation in a statement to WWD saying: “Rumors surrounding Christopher Kane’s appointment as creative director of Balenciaga are unfounded.” So the suspense continues. Who do you guess will take over the position?
