Brooklyn Nets Merch Now Available For Purchase

We posted a pic last week of Jay Z wearing a sneak peek of the Brooklyn Nets logo, which we’re told was designed by him. Now an array of merchandise is available on the the Brooklyn Nets official site.

According to press the league does it best to push teams to go with colors but it was agreed that a black and white color scheme made sense for a Brooklyn-based team. Not sure where that logic comes from, more likely Mr. Carter put his considerable weight behind obtaining the color scheme knowing it would instantaneously give the Nets the coolest logo on the planet. Some of the merchandise include the good ole Brooklyn bridge and there are several that feature “Hello Brooklyn,” which, have no idea what that’s about.  Official jerseys will go on sale in September.
