WAH Nails is once again collaborating with TopShop, the first time was with a pop-up nail bar in the Oxford store, and now a permanant set up in the chain’s Stratford City location. As part of the celebration around the event, WAH has teamed up with Minx on a “Golden Tribe” design (above) that will be exclusive to the Oxford store. Says the awesome founder of WAH Nails, Sharmadean Reid:

“Our company is all about pushing the boundaries of what can be applied on the nail with polish and we are excited to take this even further with the innovative techniques that only Minx can achieve. Our tribal design, first developed in 2009 is now taken to new levels with Minx’s metallic foils.”

Lately have been obsessing over Mara Hoffman, as in want every piece. Above is a look from her Autumn 2011 line, which is now in stores.

Rihanna loves her labels! Here’s she’s spotted in House of Holland tights, TopShop shorts and a Balmain fur coat.

The Target x Harajuko line has hit stores and is now available on line and it’s pretty adorable. This type of children’s clothing has always been available in boutiques but it’s a bit of a first for this look to be offered at a big box chain with the extra bonus of having Gwen Stefani’s name attached to it. (On another note my computer isn’t the fastest but check and see if you don’t find the site to be laboriously slow!)

Almost lost in the afterglow of Versace and H&M was the launch of Free People’s special edition dresses. Our  favorite part of this initiative is the fact that each designer was allowed  to talk about their design, something that rarely happens when the said design is part of major publically traded company. 

While we appreciate the concept,  a step further to full blown love would have been the acknowledgement of the uber-talented seamstresses and pattern makers that must have contributed to making these gowns happen.  And there is definitely  a lot of South Asian detailing going on. The bells on the dress above fab!  On the next page the video intro of the dresses, all available here. 

We mentioned a collaboration between Nike and The Lake & Stars on an Air Force 1 style last week, and now we have the brand’s designers, Nikki Dekker and Maayan Zilberman, flashing the outcome of their efforts. The shoe is the first Air Force one to feature the collaborative brand’s name on the strap and features black suede on black canvas, with green soles and silver tipping. It’s available by special order in both women’s and men’s sizes and for those who’d like a more hands-on look, the shoe is currently on display in the window of The Lake & Stars pop-up shop, which opened at Walker Street in New York, yesterday and will be open through November 23rd.
