We posted the Bazaar cover featuring five supermodels to be featuring in Duran Duran’s ”Girl Panic” video, and we’ve now been provided with the link to a couple of the teasers (there are a total of ten). The one you’re seeing here is teaser No. 5 featuring a glimpse of Cindy Crawford with electric guitar in hand. Tomorrow you can view the making of the video exclusively on  Style.

A follow up on our post announcing G-Star’s Women’s Night event, which Highsnobette attended as featured bloggers for the Prince/Lafayette store in SoHo. That’s DJ Chelsea Leyland who spun for the ladies-only soiree, which included hair and make-up touch-ups, denim manicures, and hors d’oeuvres. The amazing part is the G-Star pulled off this event in 141 stores worlwide! 

As my winging-it self is inclined, I arrived with somewhat wet hair–sadly not because it was raining either–and the ladies manning the hair station still managed sans blow dryers even to pull together a very awesome hair did for me (which thanks to champagne and high levels of post-event tequilla I didn’t manage to undo until oh-like four days later, but it still looked amazing even then!) Special thanks to G-Star p.r. star Ida Khabazian who pulled off the whole thing with her usual fierce yet smiling aplomb.

Jewellery  designer Saskia Diez partners with Ln-cc to create the quintessential lightweight travel bag:

 Saskia and Stefan wanted to work with the basic requirements of a travel bag – durability, protection and light weight – and sought for an appropriate material other than the traditional choices of leather and reinforced textiles. They decided to produce their bags of Tyvek®, a synthetic paper that is extremely lightweight – 135g for the bigger and 115g for the smaller bag – but at the same time exceptionally robust, and both water- and tearproof.

At a party hosted by Barney’s to celebrate Christian Louboutin’s 20th anniversary, the guest of honor is inspired to carry away Blake Lively, who is sporting a red leather coat (by who, dear readers?) paired with multi-colored snakeskin Louboutin pumps. And…..insert comments about the comfort levels of Louboutin heels here.

Kanye rocks relaxed-fit leather jeans to perfection, pairing them with a vee-neck charcoal sweater and his soon-to-be-launched Nike Air Yeezy kicks, which a sneaker buyer  tells us will launch on Black Friday. This is a look that any female could wear, too, and yet it still works for a guy like Kanye who has a feel for style plus loads of confidence. Nice Apple laptop Kanye is toting, too……can’t help but wondering what juicy files are to found therein!

Harpers Bazaar created a renunion of the ’90s supermodels for its December cover, reflecting a growing trend among magazines to show models more love. From left above are Yasmin Le Bon, Helena Christensen, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Eva Herzigova, who are all wearing Dolce & Gabbana corsetts and are photographed by Jonas Akerlund.

The cover is part of a push for the upcoming launch of a Duran Duran video for the single “Girl Panic.” The song has been out since December 2010, but we’re hearing the video featuring all of the above models and directed by Akerlund will be released within the next two weeks or so.

We are definitely having a sporty style day today as the cold really brings out the coolest  things about sports inspired fashion. Parajumpers fits the bill for  that chic outdoorsy look that translates well into the urban landscape. We love everything about it. its available at Ssense.

Via Refinery we learn lingerie brand The Lake & Stars is collaborating with Nike on an Air Force I, which has to be on some top-ten list in terms of unexpected partnerships. In this image, one of the The Lake & Stars designers is working with Nike employee Weston on choosing the color and detailing for the custom pair so it’s highly unlikely that you’re seeing the finished shoe as opposed to a an office sample used to work against in building the collaboration.

The shoe is being built for the The Lake & Stars pop up store, which is set to launch on November 10th. The slight hitch with the pop-up we learned from Racked yesterday, is the sponsoring organization, BOFFO, used up all it’s money on Nicola Formichetti’s pop up and may not have enough cash to do any more pop ups. One hopes it all works out–wanna see the sneakers!

The timeless  Nike Air Rift silhouette gets a very appropriate metallic treatment . While I would have loved to see a little pop of  neon somewhere, the look is still on point. Fresh and fun to rock now or to put on ice for Spring. Available  also in silver at Zappos, more angles on the flip.
