Free People Limited Edition Dresses

Almost lost in the afterglow of Versace and H&M was the launch of Free People’s special edition dresses. Our  favorite part of this initiative is the fact that each designer was allowed  to talk about their design, something that rarely happens when the said design is part of major publically traded company. 

While we appreciate the concept,  a step further to full blown love would have been the acknowledgement of the uber-talented seamstresses and pattern makers that must have contributed to making these gowns happen.  And there is definitely  a lot of South Asian detailing going on.
