After teasing with a couple of overly-short videos Armani comes with the full video, featuring Rihanni wriggling into the brand’s lingerie and denim. Worth a watch because it’s beautifully shot by Steven Klein, as well because of her own extensive music video background Rihanna has mastered the art of the sly glance not to mention the sexy swish. This all plays against Rihanna’s song “Skin,” which couldn’t be more perfect.

Been a little obsessed with complexgeometries ‘Breach’ sweater. Soft merino wool, extra long sleeves, raw edges and a slit that is too on point for words. Get it.

Could not resist–eight-year-old Sophia Grace Brownlee all decked out in a princess costume belts out a clean version of Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass” to perfection. Stick around at least until :44 when she kicks into the chorus. And in the meantime try not to be distracted by her adorable, sidekick princess, who can’t quite keep up but manages to make some awesome faces along the way. Via Thehairpin.

For Fendi’s Spring 2012 leather shoes and bags perforated leather was the uniting theme. In my mind Fendi is positioned as the badass lux brand so meh, a little disappointed by this accessory collection, which felt a little too good girl to me….like, the candy-colored studs just made me sad. Still, there were a couple of items that stood out, like the straw bag with the leather front flat featured here–very wicked. And then there are some feather-trimmed clutches that are interesting. Just took a look at Alexander Wang’s Autumn 2011 shoes offerings, and am seeing some sizes already sold out. I reallly liked this lovely shoe called the “Luisa.” It features an open toe and silver printed lambskin combined with kidskin and is for female super heroes only.

Nike takes a more creative approach to its Autumn 2011 presentation by collaborating with female comic book artists Jan Duursema and Amanda Connor to create a “Make Yourself A Superhero” lookbook–an approach that takes the focus off of the celebrity athlete (which unfortunately there is a dearth of when it comes to females) and puts it squarely on the every day woman.

As for the artists, Duursema is known for her work on the Star Wars series and Connor has contributed to Mad magazine and has drawn for DC Comics’ Power Girl and Atlee.
