Opening Ceremony recently posted its men’s lookbook for Autumn. These are highly covetable, are they not? For that matter, the wool leggings, too. No idea what the brand is they’re not on OC’s retail site yet. If you’re a menswear know-it-all, feel free to speak up in the comments.

The lovely Lara Stone is on the cover of  The New York Times T Magazine. It seems part of the reason editors love her beside her other-worldly amazing looks is that she provides a distinct sort of canvas. Like any good model she is a chameleon, but no matter the stylist or makeup artist her persona is distinct so the challenge is revealing an as of yet unrevealed part of her psyche. It’s a quality that elevates her from just another gorgeous girl to one who has super status.

T’s cover is refreshing because it’s a take on Lara we haven’t seen yet–the effortlessly cool Downtown girl who was seemingly born with it status. Maybe she’s not photographed outside of every show wearing all the right designers for the moment, but her influence is both undeniable and considerable.

Because there is nothing like seeing the clothes in action, enjoy the look at Prada’s Spring 2012 runway show.

Instead of being a grouch and mourn the warm days,  I found it very healing to look at Barbara Bui’s lustworthy Autumn collection which really makes cold weather look very good. Enjoy!

Designed by Takahiro Gonno, the Japan-based label Xampagne makes sportwear with a unique edge by using luxury fabrics on everyday separates. The above jacket stood out as a show stopper. A peek on the flip and a look at the current collection here.

Here’s a better look at Prada’s”Flaming” sandals it just showed on its Spring 2012 runway for Italian Fashion Week.

In the ultimate nod to Americana, Miuccia Prada offers up a Spring 2012 collection that pays tribute to the U.S. big car culture of the ’50s, often considered to be a period that represented the nation at the height of its powers. Prada unlike many other designers, however, manages to pay homage to the period without becoming overly prissy and staid, which she pulls off by infusing designs with her signature touch of sex-kitten mischieviousness, highlighted in this collection by satin car coats and vintage cut bathing suits with sparkle detail. And oh the sandals (above) with the flames shooting out of them!! ….editors are liking to be buzzing about then for days and days to come.
