New-on-the-scene jewellery designers Julia & Samantha Vaughn are off to an impressive start with their Avgvstvs & Avgvstvs label, whose first collection titled “Heirlooms” brings to mind vintage store treasures  with a slightly edgy twist.  I’m imagining lace blouses, faded jeans topped by one of their necklaces and the vision is a good one.

Referencing the uniform of a matador, Zana Bayne’s Autumn/Winter 2011 leather accessories includes red and patent leather belts and harnesses, with a continual emphasis on creating new silhouettes and intricate patterns.
