We introduced you to L’ île aux Ashby, a stunning line out of Singapore about this same time last year. Designer Rayson Tan’s latest creative fashion project Cosmopolitan Beau  is a a bold and colorful amalgam of colors and shapes he describes as follows:

 A mish mash of architecture, art deco, geometry and pop culture. It celebrates individualism and cohesion. Everyone is made up of unique details; and everyone ought to embrace diversity in this cosmopolitan world today.In essence, Cosmopolitan Beau can be anybody’s state of the mind and heart.

Beyonce was recently featured in Time magazine, wearing a Masai-inspired necklace by one of our faves, accessory designer Melody Ehsani. The orginal pic was black and white and in this lush color version you get a better feel for the look of the necklace as well as what color she chose for her perfectly simple yet on point mani.

Givenchy gets the “Swag Or No Swag?” treatment, and natch, comes out on top in poll results. Not suprising because these days head designer Riccardo (oops) Roberto Tisci very much has that “it” aura floating all around him. 

The dress above is from Givenchy’s Autumn/Winter 2011 collection. It seems like back interest and half exposed butts are quite the theme thus far in the couture presentations. Is that inspired by all the pop stars–especially Lady Gaga, who have been exposing their bums as of late?
