Video: Beastie Boys ‘Don’t Play No Game’ Full Length

The Beastie Boys with some help from Santigold win a bit of a come back with a hot song, “Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win,” and a clever video, directed by Spike Jonze, featuring an action story line played out by G.I. Joe dolls. It’s the Beastie Boys so natch it’s a bit on the campy side with the hands manipulating the dolls sometimes showing up in the frame and the special effects intentionally low budget. Keep an eye for added characters including zombie dolls, the abominable snowman and a killer shark. Basically a revisit to juvenile days gone by, a place where the group is always at its best.
