Definitely my fave resort collection thus far. Super love for everything on this page–the visor, key chain(!!!), the skirt and the coordinated shoes–it’s luxury doing its deftest dance with street, which, something like the Wicked Witch has my heart melting. (Double props for using models of colors other than white.) When I was over gathering details at The Hundreds site for the post I did on its bikini launch, I found this video of mini, well-dressed B-Boys breaking (well, at least one is), as directed by Tony Kelly for American Apparel. According to details accompanying the video the dancers, Jalen Testerman and Lil Demon, are “world renowned.” What ever their credentials may be, they’re also super cute!

The Hundreds is a about to launch the above bikini featuring the brand’s ticking time bomb logo. Find it starting June 16th at Hundreds stores and then next week at authorized retailers.

One of the reasons why the Snobs adore independent designers and young labels is because they put it all out there fabulously. This “Sound of Rain Jacket” by the talented  Maldova-based Lirfons we cannot ignore. At first glance the look can be seen as conceptual but on closer inspection the thick activewear zipper and elastic cuff translates into a street sensibility with an avant-garde edge.

Painting the picture of the womem we imagine wearing–it ranges from Snobette style  faves Stella Tenneant, Tilda Swinton, Rihanna  to of course Melody Ehsani. In my dream in which the big brands go all the way with design, there’s a  collaboration with Lirfons , this jacket has a swoosh, a Jumpman  or three stripes somewhere and my heart stops . You can see it in more angles on the flip, and  please take the time to look at many more heart stopping  (Billberry and Black Puma) jackets here.

Every summer I get fixated on  a fashion “thing,” and this summer one of them is crochet. After purchasing a  long knit dress now the hunt for the crochet one piece that can double as a top has started. Aussie designer Lisa Maree ’s one piece  is pretty much perfection.
