Penmanship is this super digital age can be seen as a lost practice, especially when you can sign up for pretty much any transaction on a screen. Nonetheless if you think about it, there is an undeniable glamour in old-fashioned writing. Instead of frantically typing into your smartphone phone, we see whipping out an ultra-sleek  white and gold pen as decadent and classicly old school with a very cool lady like appeal. The Mont Blanc tribute to its famous Meisterstück  features a capsule collection of all white pens and accessories, launched at Saks Fifth Avenue  this week.

We Are Handsome’s latest collection, called “The Memoirs” for Summer 2011 is now on line. This bikini bottom featuring a wolf’s head reminded me of that big controversy a couple weeks back over the Hindu god featured on a Lisa Blue swimsuit, for which the designer had to apologize and ultimately pull the design from the line. Ha, imagine if all the wolves of the worlds saw this swimsuit and got super angry and started attacking humans in protest. Of course that would never happen because wolves aren’t crazy, thus making it a funny thing to imagine.

If  Beyonce’s catsuit in her latest music video had you fiending but you can’t quite bring out your inner Amber rose, fret not. The “Aztec” cut out exists  in a fabulous dress that is of course the hotness. Available here.

J.Crew’s design collaboration with Prabal Gurung is now on line. This partnership came as part of Gurung’s prize for winning runner up for CFDA’s Fashion Fund Award. There are a total of six pieces and it’s a very limited run of about 50 per item. Prices range from about $200-$400, a nice discount off of Gurung’s normal label, which starts at about $500. We liked the tuxedo pants featured above the best, but some of you may like the “Exploding Bow” tops, which are about as girly girl as you can get and would be perfect for a summer cocktail or dinner party.
