That burger and nails blog everyone was getting all excited about? Turns out it’s done by a guy who likes nail art, says Vice mag. Which is fine, but a relief because the idea of a sloppy hamburger paired with a manicure wasn’t sitting well from my very femmy perspective. Nails done means a prettty, perfect and pristine manicure that you can gaze upon and find peace from even when all else around you might be a chaotic mess. So the image of drippy food pushed up against newly polished nails potentially making them a mess, too?? Sorry, but just no. It’s wrong.

Lady Gaga on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. We’re getting rolled over by the amount of Gaga press events related to her “Born This Way” album release, but this cover stood out–love the hair color and styling.

While trailing around this week-end we stumbled upon Chance, the brainchild of Julia Leach. A summer pop-up boutique anchored on the image of the classic striped boatneck and mostly the stylish, classic ocean side nonchalence  it inspires. The white walled boutique stands as a ray of sunlight filled with fun discoveries and an attention to detail that makes us swoon. On the next page a peek at a few pieces available at their online shop however, in the spirit of discovery and taking chances, this is a must visit! Photography by Chris Shipman
