All of the internets are buzzing that Mr. Sean Carter has launched a site titled Lifeandtimes. It includes style features and while clearly more for a male audience, among the neckties and men’s shoes was an interview with street photographer Garance Dore (that’s her above in a photo accompanying the interview, shot by her fella, Scott Schuman). Here are a few of her responses:

L+T: What’s the most fashionable place you’ve ever been?
GD: Anna Della Russo’s closet.

L+T: Who are three artists in your iPod that you’ll never take out?
GD: Leonard Cohen, Serge Gainsbourg, Destiny’s Child

L+T: What fashion trends should we be looking forward to in 2011?
GD: I love hats and I would like to see more women and men adopting them into their wardrobe.

Note the nod to Beyonce! Definitely it will be interesting to see if the famously private Jay-Z will use his insider access to create compelling content. So far he’s playing his hand chest close and like a lot of things Carter-related, you feel a wall. Though given this is just day one, it’s will take a few weeks to tell.

Rag & Bone have launched swimwear this spring, a small collection that includes a bikini and the “Elizabeth” maillot above. Elle magazine, where we spotted news of the launch, describes model-favorite Rag & Bone’s quiet ascent to coolness over the past few years, a feat it’s accomplished with virtually zero hype or collaborations. And we have seen/heard as much. Indeed, when we recently asked an acquaintance who works at Bergdorf’s who her floor’s best seller was, Rag & Bone topped the list.

The idea of applying makeup with an airbrush sounds intimidating and over the top, but in this lookbook video highlighting Berlin-based makeup company Uslu Airlines‘ product offerings, it seems fun and very chic. Product is either air-brushed on or used with stencils to create other-worldly yet still somehow simple looks. It course it doesn’t hurt if you have nearly invisible pores as the models in this video do.

Shot by the adorable William Yan, we had to give you a second look at the Levi’s presentation highlighting  their upcoming collections. While the women’s looks were as usual sleek and timeless,  the big buzz was generated by their new “Commuter Cycling” series, designed for the  ever increasing number of dudes on bikes (ladies coming soon hopefully). The cutie above was chilling in a tub rocking the Levi’s “Waterless” collection. More on the next page.
