Just discovered that one of our fave shoe brands, the artful United Nude, provided the footwear for Three As Four’s New York Fashion Week runway show. There was an musical theme to the show, including accessories made fromviolins, and shoe company United Nude chimed in with shoes featuring tuning forks! Velvet flare pants, shrunken leather vest  with the fringes, because sadly or happily I’m the geek that would  go all out, and commit to the  Jimi Hendrix look this belt screams to me. I have much respect  for some women’s ability to rock a mini skirt  with flair and sass. However, the “wow” factor of the long skirt with the slit , is to yours truly  another example of that sex statement  that does not scream but whispers… A timeless modern classic.  Bec & Bride ’s lighweight version on my catwalk is a fave. With red carpets getting reviewed and the celebrities who dare to take fashion risks outside of  the acceptable ’ glam bridesmaid’ ending up on worst dressed lists ,we wonder what the future of the blonds collection will be. While the average woman probably cannot get away with a fringed sequined dress, the kimono dress on the left however we say dare( you only live once). Business was buzzing at G-Star’s booth at Project, where the brand was all about its distressed denim looks, an ongoing  theme for the brand, but was also showing some new silhouettes including jumpsuits and the very trend-friendly poncho. On this page we get a look at a very cozy wool version and a sportier denim one after the flip. Thanks as always to G-Star’s champion p.r. rep, Ida! (Stop by and congratulate her if you’re at the show…won’t give away details, but she is having a grrrreat year!)

Arrived in Vegas for Magic yesterday and of course popped by Jeffrey Campbell in the Pool section of the show, where as always its booth was buzzing. JC always delivers the latest trends but at the same time it always remembers to give love to its cult fans obsessed with its platform offerings. This delightful pair of rainbow platform sandals has been this Spring’s biggest hit, and they will be hitting retail shortly.

On another note, the brand is launching handbags! I peeped the images yesterday and natch, they are trend perfect and the JC girls will love them. Look for us to post those soon.
