When it launched just over a year ago, Vans “Sophie” became something of an instant classic, which is saying a lot given the brand’s deeply rooted heritage in skate kicks! An unlikely collaboration that we had some doubts about when we were told about it, but were very pleasantly suprised when we saw the actual garments. Somehow these two French-rooted brands found fertile grounds to bring together their themes–preppy + bohemian chic, for a collection that offers a fresh new look that compliments both labels. When it comes to fashion media, Kate Moss has been popping up pretty much everywhere lately and all we have to say is make that money girl! Here she stars in Dior Beauté’s latest campaign “Be Iconic.”

Specializing in country clothing and horse rugs, Lavenham, estblished in 1969, is a brand rooted in quality and craftmanship. Its quilted jackets hint of course to equstrian chic,  but I cannot help but think of what I used to call Upper East Side ladies who lunch of the nineties, whose look consisted of a string of pearls, a quilted jacket, cropped capris and Belgian loafers. While The Snobettes could easily fall for some of their jackets, an upgrade in the look book styling would greatly benefit what we see as a very well made piece  and covetable piece of clothing. Lady Gaga is snapped by Terry Richardson for Purple magazine. She’s rocking a white bodysuit and Hermes bag tagged with the Supreme label–have no idea what that’s about and Hermes collaborating with Supreme seems highly unlikely, but ya never know!
