Manish Arora x Paco Rabanne It’s Official!

Via AP PARIS – Paco Rabanne, the label that rocketed into fashion history in the 1960s with its metal mosaic dresses, is trying to return to the fashion present.
The label, which hasn’t fielded a runway collection since 2006, has named madcap (?)Indian designer Manish Arora as its new artistic director.
Arora has garnered considerable critical renown for his inventive, over-the-top signature line in eye-popping colours.
The house said Friday that Arora will present his first collection for Rabanne during spring-summer 2012 displays in October.
Don’t agree with the term “madcap” though, seriously AP?
