We published the images from the ultry sultry Interview magazine editorial entitled “Bride Whisperer” earlier today, and now we bring you the video. A little holiday prezzy for those of our readers who enjoy their fashion combined with some woman-on-woman action. Ridiculously unsafe for work or viewing in front of anyone who is under the illusion that you’re not a perv.

A lot of fuss is made about Chanel’s nail polishes, which, frankly in the year 2010 isn’t deserved. The quality is good, but the power it once had setting colors trends no longer exists—there are simply way too many players in the game who are focused not just on color innovation, but also new textures and designs. That all being said, this Spring 2011 collection, entitled “Les Perles De Chanel” featuring colors “Pearl Drop” and “Black Pearl,” does have my heart fluttering. No. 1, love that it’s pearl–never could get with the flat trend; next, one of the colors is white with gold flecks(!), ’nuff said if you know even an ounce about my color preferences; and finally, the black pearl is actually a sort of jade, which strikes me as a perfect color for this Spring (bring’s to mind the mint green Alex Wang showed, only a meaner/darker version, which is always good). No shocker that LVMH wanted in on the Hermes brand given the enviable job it does of branding itself as the king of all things lush and gorgeous, with its unique emphasis on earthiness as opposed to the in-your-faceness attitude of most luxury brands. In this video for “Le Voyage D’Hermes,” the brand’s newest fragrance, we’re treated to a stunningly beautiful horse running in slow motion. It sounds like nothing new, but this animal is so lovely in its appearance and color as to make the heart ache.

In celebration of the recent U.S. Congress vote to end the ban on gay men and lesbians serving openly in the military, we bring you a sensuous view on marriage, entitled “the Bride Whisperer,” from Interview magazine’s January 2011 issue. Made almost entirely of recycled and re-purposed materials, Gustavo  Silvestre’s Autumn/Winter 2011 collection takes inspiration form the cultural melting pot that is his native Brazil. Colors and  textures blend into a look that is of course colorful,  sexy yet very urban and modern. More images on the flip.

Perfectly illustrated by its name, the “Chisle” jacket by Preen is a sculpted wonder of tailoring that makes us weak in the knees. It’s pretty much the qunitessential classic black  jacket.  Available at lncc. You can view it  on various angles on the flip.

The Spring 2011 Collection by Silvio Liu  , a young label created by Bryan Woods and Danny Liu,  takes ladylike approach to fashion with feminine silhouettes and a romantic,  colorful palette inspired by Matisse’s paintings. Enjoy.

 Designer Lauren Tennenbaum of (In)DecorousTaste fame, was contacted by Nike to rebuild a pair of running shoes with a skies the limit ceiling on creativity and out-there-ness. The result you see here….a tribute as it turns out to Dorothy from “Wizard Of Oz” and the imagined conclusion that she would have fared better in footwear more nimble than a pair of pumps.
