More peeks of the controversial Kanye West video “Monster.” Not sure if the delay is related to certain scenes, some of which are harsh or just general Kanye tweakiness.

Sadly in its last days is the wonderful exhibit by Chellieswilson and Maria Alexandra Vettesse which took on the task of celebrating winter light and the changing seasons. The collection of  photographs were screened into limited edition scarves. The result is pretty amazing:

“I am always bewildered by the arrival of early autumn darkness. I travel around in my normal routines confused for weeks. This year I felt I needed to try harder to understand the transition. Was there some way I could prepare? Without even knowing it I found I was using my camera as a tool to dissect the final hours of illumination. I became fixated on capturing a momentary blanket of light, of all tones and colors, which I could hold and pull up around me when all I see is black. I wanted to feel the light. I needed to see the light. And now I feel ready. Come darkness, here we are again.—MAV”

Nike has joined forces with Liberty of London on a collection of women’s sneakers, all featuring the cheery flower prints for which the Brit-brand has become known for. The pack includes a Dunk, Air Force 1 and Blazer style and will launch Spring 2011. Visit Blogue to see the rest of the colors.

And in more cover-landing news, the lovely Padma Lashmi is on the cover of Vogue India for the January 2011 issue. According to Beautyisdiverse, this is Lashmi’s first cover for Vogue India. She’s photographed by Prabudda Dasgupta and styled by Anaitia  Shroff Adajania.

Nicki Minaj is the cover star for yet another issue of King magazine [UPDATE: This is actually her first cover for this mag, which I confused with Black Men mag.], this time it’s the  March/April issue. It’s very standard issue Nicki–boobs all pushed up, black wig, sexy lingerie–which is what I assume the readership prefers. No credits for the photographer or her fashion, which I guess we will have to wait for when the magazine hits stands. [UPDATE: The cover was shot by Sarah McColgan. Thanks, Rudi!]

Creative director of the label since 2005, it’s been announced that Riccardo Tisci is launching a new line of accessories for Givenchy titled “Obsedia.”  Available in boutiques this coming February,  the line will continue his foray into a dark, almost goth aesthetic ,using a new cross-like logo you can see above.  As reported by Vogue France.
