Commissioned by Nowness,  Tommy Ton followed Goldwyn to the vintage pop-up marketplace A Current Affair, which she hosted in Los Angeles, in order to capture the adept scout in action—and also snapped her at home, away from the collecting frenzy. “It is super competitive,” Goldwyn says of these events. “I’m like a hawk—there’s no time for chit-chat.” NOWNESS secured a private audience with Goldwyn, who gave us a master class on shopping strategy and revealed why most things come down to sex and history.  Noon, designed  by Nur Kaoukji and Siham Nuseibeh is in their own words “A fashion brand dedicated to the revival of handicraft with a modern twist.”Socially-conscious , the fashion brand defines itself as  anti-mass production and anti-exploitation choosing to only work with handicraft workers in factories, which they have personally visited, where the workers  are treated with dignity and respect.Their 2011 collection titled’ Mata Hari’ is inspired by the  exotic Dutch dancer ’s colorful, irreverent style.
