Continuing its innovation of the denim making process, Levis introduces a waterless collection for Spring 2011, comprising styles made with a process that minimizes the use usually needed in denim production. The styling and mood of the collection reflect an easy spirited Americana, which this time around is more sexy summer on a farm than it is dark glam rock. The evening ended on a stunning musical note with a high energy performance by London’s The Duke Spirit. On the next page a closer look at the collection and our random sightings.

Japanese designer Jun Takahashi offers a red plaid, knee-high boot under his Undercover label. Given the heel it’s an interpretation that winks at the outdoor-inspired heritage looks that have been so popular among the guys this season. Via Zozo.

Nike must like London-based menswear designer Katie Eary, the company recenlty called on her again (she has dressed sprinter Martin Rooney in a custom, cheetah Nike track jacket)  to interpret a pair of “Lunar Glide 2s,” the brand’s current out-of-the-box, superstar running shoe style. Spotted on Missneira, The lace stilettos by Coppelia Pique. I’m speechless…

The  lace stilettos are the creation of shoe designer Vicente Rey, used on a photo shoot styled by Coppelia Pique and photographed by Andy Julia.

Reebok once again worked with the Hello Kitty franchise and this time presents three colorways of their PT-20 sneaker. For those of you that find the all-over design a little heavy, you can opt for the other two, which only feature graphics on the lining. The sneakers are now available from Flauge.
