Little by little, Victoria’s Secret is revealing info about who will walk its famous runway show–which takes place in New York City tomorrow night–and via Elle we find out that Czech stunner Karolina Kurkova, who stopped walking the show two years ago, will return this year. In the image above she’s testing out her wings, plus a super-sexy, leopard print bikini.
Hermes has created a site called Lesailes Hermes, featuring all sorts of cute videos highlighting its many leather products. For instance, one shows a row of reversible totes turning themselves inside out. In the video above, a finger-operated skateboard glides in, around, over and through Hermes’ product line. The best part? It identifies all the tricks made by the finger at the end of the video! Via Trendland.
Iman, as iconic as she is, in my opinion gets too little shine. The 55-year old model graces the pages of Harper’s Bazaar’s December 2010 issue showing not only her star power, but glamour like it’s rarely done nowadays. Why Iman not on the cover of the issue still baffles me. Stunning images and Simon Doonan’s interview on the next page. All courtesy of Harper’s Bazaar.
French lingerie company Dement adds an element of fun and playfulness to the boudoir by designing lingerie with magnents. Yes, the idea is making removal that much easier. Cute concept, but more importantly the garments are super sexy and would be a good look with or without the magnents. Via Thecut. More images after the flip.
Newly launched Phillip Van de Roq is a new jewellery collection designed by Pernilla Phillip under the art direction of stylist and girl about town Decida. The premier collection titled “Artifacts From The Future” blends industrial hardware, military forms, antique ornaments but also leather and modern materials, such as silver clay and paper clay. Lovely and edgy while being casual enough for everyday fabulousness. Check out more pieces on the next page.
Denmark-born designer Peter Jensen, who has created the PJ by Peter Jensen line (image above) for Urban Outfitters was recently interviewed by the company. In the interview he talks about his signature bunny rabbit, his feelings on Christmas and why he doesn’t live in Denmark fulltime. Here’s his response to a question on his favorite holiday traditions:
“I always go back to Denmark for Christmas and I love all the traditions. We all have Christmas trees with real candles on there, not these rubbish electric ones they have in London. We sing songs and dance around the tree and we have dinner and presents on the 24th, roast duck and then rice pudding with cherry sauce. Yum. I once stayed in England for Christmas and it was just not the same—I really missed all the Danish traditions.”
A little bit of history on the Reebok “Freestyle Hi”…introduced in 1984, it was a style that took the sneaker business by storm because it was really the first athletic shoe designed for women who were working on their fitness, aerobics specifically. It was so powerful it even sent Nike’s sales reeling for a while. Jump forward to 2009 when Reebok launched its “EasyTone” style, designed to help facilitate, as the ad says, ”better legs and a better butt.” And it, too, has been a runaway sales train in part because the industry never really learned its lessons about creating product for women. So the idea of creating a hybrid out of the two designs is certainly interesting and unlike a lot of design combos, makes sense because of the historic connections between the two. As to the effectiveness of the shoe itself when it comes to toning, that is another discussion entirely! [Update: as per reader question, the shoes should deliver in November and will be sold at Foot Action, The Finish Line, Dr. Jays, Shiekh and more, and will retail for $110.]
The 30 percent jump in sales that Hermes just reported probably has something to do with why LVMH wanted in on the action.–WWD

Nail art is not a new phenomenon, however, the seamless communication the web provides enables artists to share their creations with fans and inspire next level designs. The fish manicure above is by Princess Gard, a nail tech based in Ohio. I’ve not fully embraced the super pointy tips but these are a wow!
Dion Lee took the fashion world by storm with his 2010 collection. One of the new most wanted, we cannot wait to see more of him. The skirt above is now available at Mycatwalk, while the dress is already sold out.
