Julia Deville Deathly Accessories

Artist Julia Deville might be described as collaborating with herself, in that she brings together her skillsets as both a taxidermist and accessory designer in her works of art. Deville describes her craft in a Dazeddigital article:

“I am a taxidermist and jeweller by trade. Originally I started out making jewellery using small taxidermy animals and now I have moved onto making larger sculptures from taxidermy animals, decorated with jewellery.”

The Melbourne-based Deville has exhibited in London and Paris and has plans to move to New York next year in hopes of breaking into the U.S. art market. More images of her art and accessories on the next page.
