Definitely a conversation piece,  the  United Nude “Stealth” hat although  inspired by the straight lines of the Stealth F-117 fighter plane, kind of reminds us of space- age newsboy cap. Was curious to see what this collection was going to be like, considering the powers at play. It’s not horrible but don’t think it makes us all want to queue in front of a Fred Perry Store.  Be the judge by looking at all the pieces on the next page. Kind of makes you wonder about the creative freedom  given by those big brands to the celebrities  they partner with, especially when the celebrity is known for a particular look. Opening Ceremony and Alex Wang are going to conduct some retail experimentation by making some of the items from Wang’s recently shown Spring 2011 collection available for presale from October 25th through November 1st.  A handful of other brands will also be available (including those crazy Jeremy Scott plushie sneakers!)
