Released just a few hours ago, enjoy a look at Kanye West’s “Runaway” film.

Valley Nails and especially nail artist Maki can easily become addictive. That’s just not me talking, I hear it all the time chatting with clients sitting in adjacent seats. While Maki was hooking me up with the two-tone manicure featured above (first spotted on Maki a couple weeks back, her “ex-nails” as she describes them), the woman next to me was talking about how she was hooked on gels. It’s like co-owner Nina Werman was saying, you can be out casually in a pair of sweats, but  flash your nails and you’re game is still completely on. Bottom line, there a lot of fun to look at. Was going to put this after the flip in the last post on Givenchy bags, but with the industrial gold clasp and the double wide width, it’s too fancy to not get its own front-page shine. One more on the next page.

Givenchy continues to devour the accessorries game, as illustrated by this quietly commanding  leopard purse. It’s not new but the rust-colored spot combined with the hardware and the neat “Givenchy” stamp make it  fresh. Two more after the flip. Via WWD.

As part of its “Confessional” series, Vogue magazine follows Wang in the days leading up to this Spring/Summer 2011 show. For parts I and II, the focus is model Britt Maren, who is working her first  show ever on Wang’s runway. In part I, she goes through pre-haircut anxiety, and in the image above Wang is asking her, rather rhetorically, “You trust me don’t you?” followed by a wicked laugh. In part II, she discovers she will open the show! As pretty as her and all the models are, what one sees clearly in this video is that Wang is far hotter and about a hundred times more fascinating to watch!
