I know this brand has a substantial history, but it’s one that I’m just getting to know.  Like a new person in my life, it’s not clear how the relationship will develop….lol, though if it’s anything based on the craptastic way the brand’s N.Y.-based p.r. team treated us (2001 called, it wants its snotty fashion attitude back!), I’d say the outcast is cloudy, but hey, in reality it’s business not personal and you have to put the product first. J.Crew Collection looks pretty boss and there are a couple of offerings like the leather pants on this page that will have your eyes lingering. Still, even though it’s the higher-priced Collection line, it strikes me as pricey given the name. I mean, the pants in the image above are 1,400 beans! Via Popbee.

Oliver Peoples recently opened a brand new location on Madison Avenue. For the occasion we got a chance to preview their Spring 2011 collection, with some of our faves  being the men’s “Jack One,” and the women’s “Lip of Fire.” On the next page a peek of a few more.

We’ve seen the video of Kate Moss’s final collection with TopShop and now we get some images.  The sweater is cute but the two on the next page are just okay. Though it appears Moss has super powers when it comes to whatever she attaches her image to so I don’t think it matters much how they look! Was chatting about the hot bag category with my HS partner in crime the other night, and we both agreed that with an unlimited budget, a Wang bag is the one we would pick to own. With the signature stud bottom and heavyweight leather, Wang has managed to create an iconic look in a very short period, but there’s also the added insider appeal of the brand. That might sound crazy to anyone who follows fashion, but Wang has a long ways to go before he becomes a household name in the world of handbags.
