Prada Made In India
Inspired by her father’s love of global craftsmanship, Miuccia Prada launches a series of “Prada Made in…” projects, for which items are created using artisan expertise from all over the world. Now, Prada did not go as far as A Peace Treaty in naming each product after the artisan who actually sewed it, but did create special labels that honor each country. Of course the Snobettes applaud theconcept of highlighting well made apparel and accessories in a world where fast and mass tend to prevail.
