Somehow Naomi Campbell has herself involved in some high drama, involving dirty diamonds, gun running and Nelson Mandela, which I guess is at least a step up from whacking minimum-wage employees with expensive cell phones. The video is worth watching just for Campbell’s wig and her swearing in.

By now you probably know that Kate Moss landed the cover of U.K. September Vogue, which is like her billionth cover (my all time fave was the Face cover when she had the braided mohawk) and here is one of the shots from the editorial. Given all the hatred dumped on her (aka the dark side of feminism) for her days as the poster child of “Heroin Chic,” it must kill some folks that of all her super model peers, she has been the one who has stayed–seemingly almost without effort–perched at the very top of the model totem pole. I don’t really know how to describe these shoes so I just chose jazz. They’re more a hybrid of sorts, and while Adidas is a bit late to this party, they’re still cute and perfectly right for now. Via Popbee.

Shipley & Halmos  have announced  the launch of their ‘Fill In the Blank ” Tour.They will travel to Barneys CO-OP locations around the country in search of capturing the eclecticism of the quintessential Shipley & Halmos customer. For each city they visit, Sam and Jeff will meet with customers and take their pictures in a photo booth set up to gather a range of personalities and personal styles to publish in book form later this Fall. The diverse cultures and styles that make up the corners of the country that Sam and Jeff will visit will provide an expansive portrait of Shipley & Halmos customers.
