Hellz ‘The Rest Is Her Story’ Autumn Collection

Hellz’s Autumn collection shows the brand continuing to evolve, as designer Lanie flexes her growing design muscle with exaggerated shoulders and ruffles, while keeping her roots firmly planted in the street via unexpected trims, details and cuts (see the leggings on the next page). The line was inspired by exploitation films including “Lady Snowblood” and “Thriller,” which give the line its modern-day femme fatale feel. Never shying away from her female power roots, you have to love how the collection’s name, “The Rest Is Her Story,” puts on exclamation point on what the label draws so much of its inspiration from.  Many more looks on the next page.
