Clearly Calvin Klein is going to milk this partnership for all it’s worth.
More images after the flip, plus a behind-the-scenese video from the making of the video ad, which is precisely what I mean by milking. Via Fuckyealarastone.
Trends may come and they may go, but it’s hard to ever imagine a day where flash won’t make my heart beat faster. Via Blackpeach via Blackkatemoss<—-we see you woman and we like, we love!
With a subtle color palette of browns and beiges, Christina Arend’s Arrondisement Aq1 Spring/Summer 2011 is modern and urban with a twist. Check it out on the next page.

Way behind on this, but here is a shot from Prada’s “Fantasy Lookbook” for Fall/Winter 2010. Apparently this is not by any means the first one, which I did not know because I am far from being a Prada fanatic. There’s about a million more pages, which you can find on FashionCopious.
Always faithful too her exotic /bohemian aesthetic Mara Hoffman never disappoints. Whether its ready to wear or swimwear she hits all the right notes. More images on the next page via Wire.
Can’t tell you much about this short called “Opposite of Color Blind” by Adam Shorts, which I found on Oppositeofcolorblind, except to say it’s thoroughly enjoyable and does a fantastic job of portraying summer life in the city–the grit, the joy and the grind. It also speaks to what I believe is the definition of streetwear–style that is outside and therefore above and beyond the mainstream. As one female in the shorts states, “There’s a lot of hard-ass bitches out there, and they all throw down with their own style, their own individual style.”
Mario Epanya formally announces on his Facebook group that Conde Nast has rejected the licence for Vogue Africa. Enjoy a look at the last amazing covers of what would have been a fantastic fashion venture. Interestingly Vogue Italia gave him a full feature, which you can read here.
Trina Turk opens Miami swimwear fashion week 2011 with a collection that hints at exotic bohemian without me fully commiting to it. The styling is good, however, not as sexy or opulant as I think it should be. If you’re taking me on a fantasy trip, then go full force. The fabulous book Gypset comes to mind as what would have been perfect. More looks on the flip. Via Wire.
