We first heard word of Reebok’s collaboration with Armani back in January but now the word is it’s set to launch in August at Emporia Armani boutiques and Reebok concept stores. According to press, it’s a “dual gender collaboration of activewear and footwear that takes Armani fashion styling and combines it with Reebok fitness technology.” The shoes look like they were made for the fellas but there is an activewear line called “EA7,” which is designed for the ladies. I like some of the items (the Wang-inspired grey capris sweats and the harem sweats), but others strike me as very average (like the t-back tops), but with activewear so much is about the quality of the fabric I have to reserve judgement. Overall the two brands make for a good couple.
