Nike Mayfly Running Shoe

There’s a reason Nike remains the king, queen and general lord of all things sneaker-related and part of it is shoes like this. Inspired by one of Nike’s founders, Bill Bowerman, the shoe’s name, Mayfly, speaks to its short lifespan, as it was designed to last for a mere 100 kilometers worth of running. Forget the “May” part, we think it’s just plain fly, especially for a mere 45 bucks. Via HighSnobiety.

lightweight training shoes are a hot item in the tech category so these speak to that trend. given the materials i doubt they fall apart as quick as they say. this is nike afterall, the kings of hype.
