The fact this bathing suit can double as a stunningly sexy top makes it that much more covetable.  Shay Todd gets a major thumbs up for this one. Via Net-a-Porter.

Alek Wek in Stine Goya

A  twin-themed   fashion show was of course the highlight of the party Vman hosted with Copenhagen Fashion week to celebrate their Scadinavian fashion Issue. Sadly my camera gave in, but I was able to snap a few of the stylish attendees like Copenhagen Fashion Week Manager Anne Christine Persson , rocking Vilsbøl de Arce( I died!).   A few more images on the flip.

MTV ’s World Stage VMA Japan Red Carpet

kesha4 540x353 MTV s World Stage VMA Japan Red Carpet

When you see the super individual looks of the other celebrities in attendance at this event, you realze that Ke$ha probably had to go the extra mile with this feather headpiece  to really stand out. Japanese performers are fierce, reminding us that there was a time when a performer brought a show just by walking onto a red carpet. It was not about fitting in by fear of the so-called fashion police. Check  out Dream, Miliyah Kato, Yu-a and many more  on the flip. Via Wire.

rochas mule Shoe Lust: Rochas Autumn/Winter 2010

One of my fave aspects of fashion is when heritage heavy brands like Rochas take a step in the direction of their history and reinvent something that is classic and stamped with their own   distinct look . With every label trying to survive everyone is  running to the trend, not realizing that over time, aside from  the quality aspect  it all looks the same. The mule ( above) I find irresistible and ladylike  to the tenth power. More stunners on the next page.Via Style.

 Nida Mahmood Autumn/Winter 2010

Entitled “Chadak Chaap” (stamp of the street), Nida Mahmood presented her Autumn/Winter 2010 collection at Wills India Fashion week a few months ago, inspired by the kitchy colorful streets and alleys of her native India. Bright fabrics and eye-catching accessories made from recycled  cans, rubber and paper came together in a collection that is playful and modern.  I’m loving the denim and sari combination.  Images via Fashionfad and Maharashtratimes.

Chanel Coco Cocoon Bags

Chanel15 Chanel Coco Cocoon Bags

Chanel previewed the latest Coco Cocoon bag collection early in May and now the entire collection is being shown online. Many of the bags–with the notable exception of the sheepskin one featured here, along with a few others–are updated versions of styles from a collection that first launched in 2009 with Lily Allen acting as the spokesperson. Time moves on and now Vanessa Paradis is the face of the label. She’s not nearly as fun as Lily, but these days are more serious ones so perhaps the choice was prescient.

Tons more styles after the flip.

Colette along with DC Comics has invited a bunch of fashion’s heaviest hitters to celebrate the publishing house’s 75th anniversary by collaborating on a design inspired by a DC Comic super hero.  A Pierre Hardy bag  inspired by Clark Kent’s alter ego is featured on this page, and on the next page is a Wonder Woman dress by Sonia Rykiel, driving gloves by Karl Lagerfeld, tee-shirts by My Face and Balmain, plus a super cool Wonder Woman headband by Maison Michel and some sunglasses by Thierry Lasry.
