GaGaDaily Gaga in Studded Rubber Singlet

We just stumbled upon GagaDaily, a blog devoted to tracking Lady Gaga’s every fashion move. Blog mistress Catherine recently posted recently about one of Gaga’s Tweets, in which she envisions herself arriving in New York in “leather, high heels and an attitude,” and voila,  not long after she showed up at the airport in the outfit featured here. The singlet is from new London designer Void of Course, the shoes, called “Nude Night Makers,” are Noritaka Tatehana, plus she’s carrying a Hermes bag, customized by Haus of Gaga.

CFDA Arrivals: Lara, Ana, DVF, Gwyneth, SJP, Iman….

LaraStone1 CFDA Arrivals: Lara, Ana, DVF, Gwyneth, SJP, Iman....

Arrivals at CFDA were looking phenomenal. Across the board it was hard to find anyone who looked overly predictable or just flat-out wrong. Surely this is in large part because it’s a fashion event and many of the attendess are experts (designers, models, stylists), but perhaps we’re seeing signs of the design focal point moving away from shoes and shifting to dresses and accessories (specifically necklaces), making for a visually more compelling red carpet image. One can hope anyway. Dress length ranged from very short to trains, but white played against black and flowerful prints were two big color trends. Sheen was also a theme, as was relaxed fabrics. HighSnobette favorites included Allison Pill, Hana Soukupova, DVF and Lara Stone (but only because she is currently in the can-do-no-wrong category).

Many more looks after the flip.

Lanvin14 Lanvin Leopard Jumpsuit: Pre Fall 2010 at Dover Street

Lanvin pre-fall 2010 is landing at Dover Street Market this week. Lanvin Alber Elbaz’s designs for this collection were inspird by the “leopard lady,” a woman he has seen out and about in Paris, always sporting a leopard coat. The jumpsuit feautred on this page does speak to that era of extra chicness, during which the leopard print was ats height. It’s very throwback Hollywood and serious, but at the same time likely to bring smiles to the faces of onlookers.

One more super glamorous look after the flip.
