YSL1 YSL Muse Two LE Bag at Colette

Oh how I desire to own a fur bag for this fall, and this one by Yves Saint Laurent is as delicious an offering as any I have seen. Featuring Impala fur, it is now available at Colette, though only a mere 55 mortals will get to slide their hands all over it.

More angles after the flip.

 Premiataperforated Boots

I cannot ever remembering the category existing but this summer is probably the first time  retailers are carryring  full assortments of what has become  Summer booties  . A little confusing since most of them are mostly a more covered sandal. Italy based Premiata’s perforated  ankle  style definitely fits the bill. Luv!

Anna Wintour Toilet Humor Chic by aleXsandro Palombo

Ever imagined the fashion world’s most chic and powerful sitting on a toilet? Even more, what would they read while parked there? Illustrator aleXsandro Palombo has pondered these questions and put his visions to paper with a series of illustrations called “Toilet Very Chic.” On his blog, Anna Wintour, the queen of them all, was featured first, naturally. La Diabla was followed by illustrations of French Vogue Boss Lady Carine Roitfeld (described as “a gorgeous S&M chic”), Allure Editor Linda Wells, designer Tom Ford, and many more. It’s all very insidery, not to mention quite strange, but according to Palombo, the illustrations are meant to lighten the mood,  and, he declares, “We are certain that it will help the fashion system fight the crisis and get rid of that layer of boredom and bitterness which it seems to have got itself stuck in!”

More illustrations, including Carine Roitfeld, Tom Ford and more, after the flip.

Lara Stone for H&M Summer Bikini Campaign

10 May 2010, 20.15 | Posted in Models, advertisement | 1 comment »

Here’s an interview of model Lara Stone, who was interviewed along with a bunch of other models as part of her participation in H&M’s summer ad campaign for its swimsuit line. She looks and seems like quite the alien in this black and white video, which of course is a big part of why we love her. Here’s another H&M video of Lara modeling a suit, leaving behind her alien persona and exchanging it for her smoking hot sexy side.  If you want to see all the H&M girls flouncing around in nearly nothing, click here.

Seychelle Clogs at Karmaloop

 Seychelle Clogs at Karmaloop

If you were paying attention to spring 2010 collections, you know clogs were viewed as a breakout trend. However, there seems to be a fair amount of trepidation in approaching this trend, like folks aren’t altogether convinced. Part of the problem is that clogs a la Ecco have never gone away and are pretty much the opposite of fashion. These Seychelle clogs are appealing because the design is fresh feeling, plus, given that they feature a wooden heel (and none of the heinous staples that I despise with all my heart) and are priced at $96, they’re pretty a good bet for making a committment that won’t break your heart if it doesn’t work out.
